Fear And Doubt Don't Have To Stop Your Business Dreams

By Cornelius Nunev

Fear and doubt can be pests on the subject of setting your business ideas in motion. If your arm yourself with these strategies, you'll be that much nearer to the personal growth and small company success you want.

Step No. 1: There has to be no excuses

For all the reasons an individual struggling with fear and uncertainty can devise as to why their small company idea won't work, there are just as many excuse tags that can be affixed to those reasons. Not having the time, cash or energy to embark on a small business venture are all ultimately short-term excuses. It's your life, and there's no better time to work on personal growth than the present. If you keep away from making excuses, you can move forward and make things happen for yourself and your business.

Step No. 2: Stay away from excessive anxiety of starting

Whenever you start to get scared, do not feel alone. Almost every person gets scared once in a while, and you also should find ways to push through it rather than succumbing to it. You have to feel fear to be successful in your business anyway, so do not be scared of the fear.

"I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past, I will turn the inner eye to see its path.

Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain."

- The Bene Gesserit "Litany Against Fear" from Frank Herbert's "Dune" (1965).

Step No. 3: Leave your comfort zone

If you get out of your safe place and start talking to people, you will be much more successful. You have to be willing to make connections and get help. It is process of getting things started, and it takes a lot of hard work. Stay away from being scared by getting the help, and get out of your comfort zone to help your business succeed.

Step No. 4: Choose and keep going

Taking action is the hardest thing to do and the most important thing to do. You have to put cash and effort into getting through hard times, and little bumps in the road could be passed. Do not feel like you are likely to fail or you will. Optimistic thinking and motion are the two most important things in putting things into action and really making your business work.
