Traffic To A Niche Website

By

In order to get more traffic to your "niche website", one of the easiest ways is to use someone else's traffic. In order to do this you first need to build a relationship with them. There are basically two types of online relationships. The first is where someone wants to be your friend. That is the easiest type to build but it probably will not be a true relationship and it will fundamentally be worthless. The more difficult type of relationship to build is where you have to do all the hard work and you do not know initially if you will get anything out of it. You will not know if it will work out initially.
To form an online business relationship with someone, the first thing you need to do, believe it or not, is to get in contact with them, usually by sending them an e-mail. Like chatting up a complete stranger you have to be prepared for rejection. Most people will not respond to you. What needs to be done in these circumstances is a bit of research to get their attention and show you are interested in the subject of their site. Get to know a bit about them. Find out what they are doing online with their business. Ask them questions, but do not be too pushy. Work your way into a relationship with them.
The first thing that you will need to do is find their e-mail address on the web.
If they have a well designed website then chances are they will have an e-mail address on the website or a place to leave comments. With your initial e-mails do not post any links in your e-mails. Most people just make pointless comments with their link in the reply hoping that the person will approve their comment and show off their link. Any reputable website knows this trick and will not approve your comment. If their website is successful, then they will have most probably spent a lot of time and effort getting the traffic to their website so they are not going to give you a free ride. You should spend time sending out e-mails without any links and try and make suggestions about how they can improve their website if you have a worthwhile point to make that can help them improve their website. Let them know that you are there to help them.
By doing this, the website owner is more likely to approve your comment or comments. Only when your comments are being approved should you put links in your comments to other articles that may be of help to them. If the links are useful, then chances are that your comments will be approved. It is not until this stage that you should start putting in links to your own website. The readers of the original website may then start clicking on the links to your website. In this way you will start generating traffic to your own website.
