1. Identify your niche

- choose a topic which is popular and there is a proven a demand, quite unique so there is not too much competition and where there are other similar products linked to it such as, knitting which can include patterns, types of wool, needles, designs, children's, accessories and so on.

2. Write down a diary of time management

 - you need to set time aside and stick to it in order to progress. It can be too easy to work for days on end, burn out and give up. Little and often is a better technique to gain success.

3. Layout

 - the structure of your information product from introduction, contents, chapters to index. Look at other books and see their layout, mirroring this where possible, including disclaimers, acknowledgements, etc.

4. Research your topic

- and "become an expert". You need to know what you re talking about to ensure you are an authoritarian and worthy of "reading time" if you expect people to buy your products.

5. Pad out your content

 - using bullet points, then expand your bullet points. This is getting the body into your product to ensure the reader gets what they want and will be more apt to buy more products from you.

6. Design your product

- in its final format. this involves pages, numbers, ensuring contents and indexing numbers are correct.

7. Proofread it and make amendments

- Check your spelling, grammar, punctuation and other formatting.

8. Get someone else to proofread it

 - and make more amendments. Although you have already done this, it is best to get a fresh pair of eyes or five. Seriously, the more people who check it for you the better.

9. Create your marketing strategy and methods.

-Think of all the ways you can advertise and promote your product to everyone you know and more. The internet is worldwide!
10. Identify free marketing routes
